Welcome to Christ Lutheran Church
Please note: Due to the COVID-19/Caronavirus situation, all worship services have been moved online and all gatherings at the church have been cancelled. We are working on ways to continue to learn, to worship, to stay connected and to continue to be a family of faith during this time. Please visit our Facebook page for up-to-date information.

We thank you for visiting our website today. We hope you will join us for worship next Sunday morning at 9:00 a.m. The service lasts forty-five minutes to an hour. Children and youth are encouraged to join us in worship. We serve communion on the first and third Sundays of the month, and all who profess faith in Jesus are welcomed to the Table.

On the last Sunday of the month, please join us for a relaxed service at 9:00 a.m. in our fellowship hall. We serve coffee, juice, donuts and other breakfast foods. Most everyone wears jeans or other casual clothing. The liturgy is condensed and there’s plenty of opportunity to sing (and laugh). Gospel and bluegrass music is provided by the Stringed Coalition, a band with four guitarists (who also provide vocals), a bass player, and a pianist.

We gather after worship for Sunday School on all but the last Sunday of the month. We first meet in the large Sunday School room to sing a song or two, grab refreshments, and pray before dismissing to our classes. The Pastor regularly offers a class for prospective members (or longtime members that want a refresher). It focuses on the origins of the faith, through the reformation and into the current state of the church, from "In the beginning" to last Tuesday. If you're interested in attending or learning more about this class, please send us an email using the link below.

Our church is a congregation of Lutheran Congregations in Mission for Christ. As such, we claim the theological center. We believe, teach, and confess Jesus Christ is Lord and Savior. We believe the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments are the Word of God. They are inspired by God's Spirit speaking through their authors. We believe that through the Bible, God's Spirit speaks to us to create and sustain Christian faith and fellowship for service in the world. We also believe in the priesthood of all believers, honoring the ministry and leadership gifts of men and women of all ages and backgrounds.

We offer many other opportunities for fellowship, education, and service to the community. Please take a moment to look around our website for more information. If you have any questions about the church, please use the email link below to send us a message. We're happy to help in any way we can.
